SCREAM!

The sequence of movies known as 'Scream' come out with a fourth. Scream is a horror movie but with the way movies are starting to appear these days, it's just a joke. The "scary movies" are not even scary anymore, they are just one more thing the society gets to laugh at. The jumpy parts in the movies are expected to come, and the characters aren't even good at acting. Most of the new movies in general coming out aren't amazing. Older movies were better than these, even Disney! What do you have to say? Do you like the new or old movies? Are you going to go see Scream 4 on April 15th?

Clothing and School Rules.

Since it is finally spring, most girls are deciding to show off their legs. They're showing everybody what they got and flaunt their looks. But what some people are not aware of is that the schools are finally cracking down on who wears what, and if it is appropriate or not. Girls are being forced to change based on how long their skirt or dress may be. What is there to change into? Your gym clothes... Because most girls even wear short shorts to gym so what is the school going to do then? Are they going to give you sweatpants? What are your thoughts on how long your clothes should be and how you wear them? What do you think the schools should do?

PDA?! WTF?!

Allie C

Okay guys, let's face it, we've all seen it, the freaky public displays of affection in high school hallways. Actually you know what, scratch that, basically we've all seen PDA everywhere! From the street, to the grocery store, to a nice stroll in Target, for some reason people can't keep their hands and/or lips off of each other. So here's what I want to know. What do you find acceptable in the PDA world? Only holding hands, or a full-on frenchie right in front of you. Let me know people, these are the hard-hitting questions of American teens these days (hehe).

What Do You Want to Be When You Grow Up?

Do you known exactly what you want to be when you grow up?
Most of us have no clue.
How are we expected to know, when we go to school five days a week, and spend our weekend catching up with family and friends, along with catching up on all of the sleep we missed out on. The answer to this question dictates the rest of our lives, where we go to school, how much money we make, how much time we will have for family, etc.
We are expected to make this decision around the age of eighteen, yet it holds the key to our future...How do you feel about this? Do you feel prepared enough to make this life deciding decision? Kat F.

Is Technology to Blame?

We all know that technology is slowly taking over the world, whether we like it or not. Rather than making a phone call, we send a text message, and rather than sending a card, we just e-mail the person we are trying to contact. How do you feel about this?
Personally, I prefer this new way of communication. I find it to take much less time, and is much less of a hassle. I also see everyday in the school hallways, people struggling to keep a conversation going. Is it due to these new means of communication? Kat F.

Global Warming? Not In Upstate NY

Ok so today is March 30th and it was 50 degrees, really sunny, and I was actually kinda hot all day. NOW we hear that we're supposed to have a snow storm tomorrow night (March 31st), and might get a foot of snow. How is this possible? Sunny and 50 degrees to snowy and freezing in 24 hours? I do not believe in global warming. The world has been known to heat up and cool down before humans even existed, and with this weather, it doesn't make it anymore believable. So I'm asking, what do you think people? Do you believe in global warming? Am I being completely ignorant in not believing that we're gonna have a real-life remake of The Day After Tomorrow? Let me know.

Favorite Youtube Videos

Allie C

Let's face it guys ... youtube has become quite the sensation in the past couple years. I would like to know some of your favorite youtube vids, and I want to share some of mine.

1. Roomate Alien Prank Goes Bad - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWqI0U3pBdA
Now, this video is awesome because it has an even funnier twist at the end.

2. British Talking Animals - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xVRf76B2y0
Pretty hilarious, some British people voice animals in their natural habitat. It's not stupid, and I guarantee people of all ages will find it funny.

3. Why You Should Not Eat Habanero Peppers - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vO06XenztDE
It's pretty self-explanatory, but these kids' reactions are absolutely priceless.

So whenever you have some free time check out these vids, and I'd love to see some of your favorites.

Is Miley Jealous?

Miley Cyrus, the star of Disney Channel's series Hannah Montana, spoke out against Justin Bieber, a young pop star, and Rebecca Black, a new teen sensation.
Cyrus believes that an artist should earn their way to fame, but not just by posting a youtube video, which is exactly how Bieber and Black both kick started their career. Kat F.

Rebecca Black ... is it really Friday?

Allie C Hello world, I'm guessing you've probably all heard the hype about the new song "Friday" by unknown artist Rebecca Black. So I just wanted to know ... is this girl serious? The lyrics are terrible, she is tone deaf, and there's a random guy in it singing about driving next to a school bus on a Friday night. She's only in 8th grade yet all her friends can drive, and she feels it's important to tell us that, and I quote, "tomorrow is Saturday and Sunday comes afterwards." I don't think I'm the only person wondering if this is just one big joke played on today's society. So please, tell me how you feel about this song.

Chris Brown Goes Crazy.

The members of this blog all feel as though Chris Brown is getting unhealthy publicity, and he is becoming famous for things he does wrong, rather than positive things. Starting with his abusive past, with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, continuing onto this past Tuesday's incident, at the Good Morning America studio. If he continues to make headlines for negative things, rather than positive, why would he want to change his ways?

Monster Truck Kills Woman in Texas Strip Club Parking Lot

23-year-old Kasey McKenzie from Ganbury, Texas was killed on March 17th, 2011 by a monster truck owned by 27-year-old Eric Crutchfield. She was killed in the parking lot of Spearmint Rhino Gentleman's Club by Crutchfield's silver four-door Ford F-250 monster truck. Crutchfield claims he did not know that he ran over McKenzie until other people in the parking lot of the club told him that he did so. Crutchfield was suspicious for driving under the influence of alcohol and was charged with intoxication manslaughter. It was discovered that he also had a suspended license and previous arrests for controlled substances. The authorites are now wondering whether or not Crutchfield's monster truck was street-legal.

What Are Teens Up To?

What are teenagers up to these days? Wouldn't you like to know? Thanks to Facebook, the most popular social networking website, one can always know what their friends are up to from their status and picture updates. Most teens are either found shopping, "smoking some dank weed", sleeping, doing homework, or going to parties; and these people are more than happy to broadcast it for everyone to see. Facebook allows us to take a look into the raw, un-cut lives of today's teen generation.

Kids aren't only sharing their lives on Facebook, they are also posting videos to YouTube, a broadcasting site. They post everything from dangerous jackass-ish stunts to funny home videos, but are teens lives today too open to the public? Anyone can view the videos they are posting. Could this be dangerous?

Another way one could find out what kids are doing is through Twitter. The site was created so that a person can share their activities all the time. It can be updated anytime, anywhere. All of these social-networking websites could be potentially detrimental to the lives of teens everywhere.
